Our cousin, who is a realtor in Massachusetts, did her homework putting us in touch with Elyse Berman, based on the mutual experiences and affliliations Elyse had in their shared profession. Boy did we hit the Jackpot! Elyse guided us as we searched for a resale in an over 55 community, over various trips spread out by time and distance, as we were living in Portland, Oregon. Not a quick weekend trip if something comes up! Elyse’s patience and expertise were invaluable as we hemmed and hawed over what we wanted, what was worth giving up and ultimately, when we found a resale we liked, realizing that it would cost us less to build from scratch and waiting a year for its completion!
