WHAT’S THIS GATED COMMUNITY LIKE?
As you enter the gated community of Pelican Harbor, you are greeted by a guard who will direct you to your destination. Pelican Harbor is made up of condos, townhouses and 57 single family homes, most with water or garden views.. The community was built between 1985 and 1999. Each section of this dog and cat friendly gated community is a little different.
The smallest homes in the community have 2 bedrooms with larger ones having 3 and 4 bedrooms. They range in size from approximately 1500 to over 3400 square feet. Many have had extensive updating. There are a variety of floor plans to pick from, as well as views in Pelican Harbor – canal, Intrcoastal and garden. This gated community is one of a few boating communities in Delray Beach, Florida and it’s pet friendly! Walking your dog will get you out in the beautiful south Florida weather!

It is just minutes from downtown Delray’s famed Atlantic Avenue with its myriad of shops, restaurants, galleries andthe beach There is are two major hospitals 6 miles from the neighborhood, as well as just about every kind of conceivable shopping nearby.
We’re talking Trader Joe’s,Fresh Market, grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, schools, restaurants, veterinarians, dog groomers, pet stores, Starbucks, fitness centers, Home Depot, movies, and more are just minutes from the community. Whole Foods 365 will be opening soon. Literally anything you could want is right there.
Pelican Harbor has a great location in Delray Beach. Nearby is Lake Ida Dog Park, if you like to take your dog to play or for a run.
At night, you may want to stop in at Deck 84, one of of my favorites. It has a great spot on the water and great food. You can even get there by boat. Downtown Delray will soon be home to the next iPic theatre, so stop in and catch a movie. There is always something to do in Delray. Think Saturday morning green markets with locally fresh-grown vegetables, fruit, home-baked goods, dog treats and more. Delray Beach is a great place to call home.
