It was a beautiful summer day in Boca Raton FL. To escape the heat for a while, we went to the movies. Not just any movie, mind you, but the iPic Mizner Park. What an experience it was! If you’ve never been to an Pic, you’re in for a treat. You don’t even have to live in Boca! It’s a short drive from Delray Beach, Highland Beach and Boynton Beach too.
iPic Mizner Park is pricier than your average movie theater, but you’ll soon see why. We bought our tickets in advance, but you can also express buy them at the door. You are then greeted by a pleasant-smiling person who will direct you to your theater.
Up the escalator we went and to the reserved seats my friend had selected. Not only do the seats fully recline, but on the seat was a pillow and blanket, for your comfort. Then we ordered lunch, which comes complete with popcorn. After all, what’s a movie without popcorn? You can order anything to drink from water to champagne. All this in a movie theater!
We saw Mama Mia! Here We Go Again, the sequel, which was entertaining but not as good as the first one, in my opinion. Maybe I’m just partial to it, because I loved Mamma Mia. But the entire experience at the iPic has left me wanting to go back for more.
Whether you’re in Boca Raton or Boynton Beach, like the movies and want to treat yourself, go to the iPic. You won’t be disappointed. Another iPic is being built in Delray Beach so I guess I’m not the only one who thought it was a great experience!
