Boca Raton Green Market & Delray Beach Green Market are open for the season
It’s that time of year again. The weather begins to cool and the Green Markets are now open for the season. A hugely anticipated event every year, the Boca Raton Green Market, as well as the Delray Beach Green Market, are nice places to gather on Saturday mornings to buy locally grown seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh baked goods, flowers, plants, seafood and culinary artisan foods.
It’s nice to walk around and often listen to music. People sometimes bring their dogs, as they often offer homemade dog treats to buy. It’s a great way to give back to the community and shop local, while picking up some of the freshest foods around.
BOCA RATON GREEN MARKET
The Boca Raton Green Market is open Saturday mornings through May 11, 2019. The green market takes place at the south end of Royal Palm Place in the parking area at the intersection of SE Mizner Blvd and Federal Highway in Boca Raton. Hours are 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
There are over 40 vendors at the Boca Raton Green Market offering everything from fresh seafood, fresh flowers, fresh bread, specialty items, coffees and teas, organics, fresh juices, fresh produce, fresh honey, fresh pastries and more. You won’t walk away empty handed or hungry!
Supporters of the Boca Green Market are Aurora Nurses, Florida Health and Chiropractic Medicine, Happy Day Creations, Boca Raton Tribune, Boca Chamber Radio, Palm Beach Investments Limited at Royal Palm Place, Women Helping Women (W.H.O. 501(c) 3) and “Fresh from Florida.”
DELRAY BEACH GREEN MARKET
The Delray Beach Green Market is open on Saturday mornings, as well. Located in Old School Square at 20 N. Swinton Ave in Delray Beach 33444, the market is open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm through May 4, 2019. It’s one block north of Atlantic Ave on NE 2nd Ave in downtown Delray Beach.
There are over 65 vendors at the Delray Beach Green Market offering everything from fresh cheeses, oils, spices, pastries, fresh eggs, empanadas, lotions, soaps, seafood, flowers, plants, produce raw milk and butter, fruits and juices. gluten free, vegan and organic products – pretty much anything you could want – along with live music. And it’s all grown or made locally!
So what are you waiting for? Get out next Saturday morning and head to either the Boca Raton Green Market or the Delray Beach Green Market. You’ll be glad you did!
