What’s the Community Like?

Mizner’s Preserve was started in 1998 with the first homes delivered in 1999 and the last homes completed in 2002. There were two builders in Mizner’s Preserve. Puder Siegel built the zero-lot line homes and Sterling Communities built the estate homes. Both have single story as well as two-story models, many with lake views and private pools.

The smallest homes in the neighborhood have three bedrooms while the larger floor plans have five and six bedrooms. Air conditioned square footage runs approximately 2800 to over 5000 square feet. Each builder had their own model homes.

Mature foliage lines the streets of this gated community in Delray Beach FL. The mature oak and palm trees, along with various other trees, flowers and plants make this gated community absolutely beautiful. It’s not uncommon to see neighborhood kids playing in the street, people out walking their dogs meeting up with other dog walkers and chatting, or working out down at the clubhouse. Life is good in Mizner’s Preserve.

HOA fees vary in Mizner’s Preserve from the zero-lot line homes to the estate homes. Zero lot homes include common areas, basic cable, lawn, trash removal, security and reserve funds. Estate homes maintain their own lawns and sprinklers.

Mizner’s Preserve has a 24/7 guard-gated entry, clubhouse with fitness center, playground, tennis, pool and spa. There is NO equity in Mizner’s Preserve.

What Schools Will the Kids Attend?

If you buy a home for sale in Mizner’s Preserve in Delray Beach, the local schools serving this area are Orchard View Elementary, Omni Middle School and Spanish River High School in Boca Raton.

Mizner’s Preserve is located just minutes from Town Center Mall, Boca Raton’s famed mall with Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Nordstrom and Macy’s along with over 200 other small shops and restaurants.

Mizner’s Preserve is located less than 2 miles from Delray Medical Center, a major hospital and trauma one center, as well as medical facilities. This gated community is easily accessible from either West Palm Beach International Airport, Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Miami International Airport or Boca Raton’s Private Airport. It is also conveniently located to all major highways for ease of travel.

In the evenings, you may want to have dinner at Prezzo in Park Place, one of my favorites, which just reopened after a long hiatus. Or, head to downtown Delray and stop at Deck 84 for some waterfront dining and great food. Nearby is also downtown Boca Raton, where you can try the new Louie Bossi’s restaurant or take a stroll through Mizner Park with its many fine shops and restaurants.

It’s a short drive from the gated community of Mizner’s Preserve to our beautiful beaches. You can’t beat the beautiful blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean for a relaxing, peaceful day. Or, take your furry friend for some exercise and fun at Mizner Bark or Lake Ida Dog Park, one of two nearby dog parks. There is even a dog beach in Boca Raton now. Did I mention this was a pet-friendly community? You bet I did! And if you’re a dog owner, you’re going to like it.
